Manager, Employee Engagement Restek Bellefonte, PA, United States
Employee ownership can have a positive impact on retention, engagement, and performance. Energy and enthusiasm for shared ownership, however, may not be the same in a mature ESOP as it was in the initial years. Longtime participants benefit from a fresh way of looking at employee ownership, and they need new reasons to tell your great ownership story. Your newest employees may not be fully informed about the cultural and financial advantages of employee ownership. This session will outline several different strategies to inform and rekindle the ownership energy in a mature ESOP. Participants will hear about different strategies for renewing ownership passion including specific examples of the work two ESOP companies did to fuel ownership enthusiasm.
Learning Objectives:
Delineate at least four ways to encourage more vibrant conversations about ownership in mature ESOP companies
Identify examples of both cultural and financial benefits of a company's employee ownership story
Determine new ways to approach what some might consider "old topics" about employee ownership
