Risk Performance Advisor Scott Insurance Raleigh, NC, United States
This session will provide a brief update on the evolving cyber risk industry as well as some insight into the changes within the cyber liability insurance market that many ESOPs are facing. Primarily, we will focus our efforts on discussing how ESOPs can proactively prepare for, respond to, and manage cyber-related incidents. Over the last 18 months, our industry has seen a massive increase in the number of cyber-related events, ranging from email phishing to ransomware to traditional data breaches. As a result, the professional IT and cyber risk communities have acknowledged that most organizations are not adequately prepared to manage and respond to cyber-related claims and incidents.
It is our belief that it is not a matter of IF a company will have a cyber breach, but rather WHEN. When it does occur, we want our clients to be well-prepared. Please join our team for an overview of how you can strategically prepare for a cyber-related incident and build a response plan to protect your organization and your ESOP.
